OMG ADFSHASJDKFHASJDGHJAHDSFLA

TODAY WAS THE MOST AMAZING DAY EVER. I normally hate Mondays but today was so good it makes me love them.

My morning classes weren't that great, I'd go as far to say they were boring but lunch time was SO GOOD! I chilled with Sam today at lunch and we were catching up. I told her about the situation with Bearded Boy and about how I made my prom dress which she was quite excited about. AND THEN ME AND HIM MADE THE BEST EYE CONTACT EVER. It was right after the first bell rang after lunch. It was one of those times were you both turn your heads. I really hope he messages me soon

AND THEN WHEN I GOT HOME I HAD A LETTER FROM KING'S. I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID THAT I HADN'T GOTTEN IN BUT THEN I OPENED IT AND IT SAID "On behalf of the Dean of The University of King's College I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into the bachelor of science and foundation year program." OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. I ACTUALLY JUMPED UP AND DOWN (mostly because there was no one home) I WAS SO HAPPY. and then my father didn't answer the phone and I walked the dog.

That was all the amazing that one day can handle other than the super hard sax ensemble music that we were reading today. It's going to take some work but we did really good for sight reading. I really want to say that tomorrow is going to be even better than today but I haven't done any of my homework yet and I doubt I will unless I can't sleep...again.

I'M GOING TO UNIVERSITY!

New Years Blue

everyone always thinks the new year is a great time of year. You get to start with a clean state, fix old friendships, make new ones and reinvent yourself (Like I need a specific time of the year to do that..). But there are the unfortunate few of us who instead of feeling rejuvenated feel a gnawing feeling in our guts that something isn't right or something isn't good enough. Yes, my friends, I speak of the dreaded new years blues.

this is not so dissimilar to the equally horrible February blues because although February is the shortest month in our calendar it always feels the longs thus we all get stuck with the blues. I think it has a lot to do with the lack of sun and the abundance of darkness that surrounds us for the month but I digress. I'm stuck in a rut where all I can think about is "how can this year be any better than the last?". I mean, the last year hasn't been that great but if the last few months are an indicator of the way the next 12 months are going to be things aren't looking up. Never before have I been so busy, stressed, forgetful, irritable, angsty and generally hard to get along with and it's starting to bother me. But whenever I try to fix it and be a better person I just get frustrated with the idiots around me and go back to my ways of storming through the halls, pushing people out of my way and keeping to myself for the most part.

Today was my first full day back at school and my work load as already accumulated enough to make me want to go crawl into my bed. I mean really, your first day back should send you running for the hill should it? Whats worse is that I can't focus for more than a few minutes (this is really hard to write because I keep on looking at other things and it's just not good). So with that lovely combination of not being able to focus and piles of homework I can just feel the pressure mounting in my head.

I would say I need some nice relaxing music but I have plenty of that. So I think I'm going to curl up for a bit and listen to some Wintersleep and maybe get some sleep. I hope your new year is going way better than mine.

Day 26: 10 responsibilities that I have are...

Wooo! RESPONSIBILITIES!

1.) HOMEWORK! gotta get it all done every night! (it's what makes caffeine necessary)

2.) Good grades! That come from doing said homework. These will hopefully help me get into a university of my choosing. Gotta work hard!

3.) Keep my room walk-in-able. I have a horrible habit of piling clean clothes on chairs and then looking for things and having all the clean clothes fall over onto the floor and then get kicked around in my morning stumbles and then presto chango! you cannot move in my room in the dark unless you are me.

4.) Vaccum room after said mess is cleaned up. It happens about once a week or so. I feel better when everything is tidy.

5.) Keep those fish a swimming. This involves feed and cleaning and changing lightbulbs and filters. It doesn't always work out but the two I have left seem content with their tank life.

6.) Doing the dinner dishes. I only do them on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday because I'm busy other days and sometimes if I have a lot of work my rents will do them during the week which is why I had to take on another responsibility

7.)  Laundry. It was either that or cleaning the bathroom. What one would you choose?

8.) Practicing my Piano. If I don't not only do I feel guilty but I don't get better. It's a lose lose situation.

9.) Practice sax. This happens next to NEVER.

10.) umm....be...polite? ...???

A Story Of My Average Tuesday!

So! Tuesday is day 2 (we work on a four day schedule at my school. Monday is always day one (ABCD), Tuesday day two (BADC), Wednesday day three (DCBA), Thursday day four (CDAB)and Friday rotates. It makes zero sense but whatevski) which means my day goes Pre Calculus (B block), Chemistry (A block), Lunch, English (D block) and Off Block (C block)! I love having off last. It's way better than having it first (because I'm in band I only have off every second day which means I only ever have it first and last. It's pretty sweet.). Other than the fact that I start the day with PreCal (it's totally mind crippling) it's my favourite day of the week. I have English last and I get to hang around and do nothing afterwards.

On a normal Tuesday, I'd stay at school during off because I have Brass Ensemble after school (I'm trying to learn how to play trumpet. It's...interesting...) but I was feeling sick so Ms. D (My band teacher. She's great. :D) let me go home instead. I got a drive from my friend Catherine. Her mum came and got us. It was pretty sweet because we didn't have to wait for the 10 to come. When I got home I ate some Cocoa Puffs (because they're awesome) and got down to work. I started by making a check list to get everything organized and choose what I wanted to work on first.

I started by doing my chem lab because I really don't want to fail that (it would be devestating) and then I had to go pick up the van from my dads work. Of course, me being the person that I am, I had to procrastinate about doing the chem lab so the list grew a little longer...

Then I got back home, ate and had a mini-heart attack about writing my article for the school news paper (it was about band. I might post it later...It depends on whether or not it gets into the paper) and finding pictures or the other articles that are going into this months issue (I'm the photography rep for the paper so I'm in charge of all the pictures that go into it. And the list grew longer..

Band (tonight)

I wasn't terribly disappointed that the list was growing because everything that I added to it got check off. I felt like I was getting stuff done and I kinda was. Just not some of the things that I should be focusing on *coughcoughprecalcough*. At band I got my bestie Amanda to look over my article and give me back my English essay (she likes to edit and I need my stuff to be edited so she reads it over and we talk about changes I can make. It's really beneficial for both of us.). She really liked them both so when I got home I made a few changes to my essay and sent Mr. Aucoin (the teacher advisor for the news paper) my article. More things got check off.

Tim's Coffee (What I need if I’m going to survive tonight)

We went to Tim's on the way home to grab some coffee because I was feeling very decaffeinated and I needed coffee so I could get through the rest of the work that I needed to do. I finished off the night with a rush of math. I got my homework done and *most* of the Independent study done (I say most because I think I did a few questions wrong and I couldn't get number 10. But I'll clear that up tomorrow when I talk to my friends.

I'm really pleased with the amount of progress I've made tonight with my massive work load that I've been stressing about for the past four days. Tonight I will be able to sleep well.
