Money! (cont..)

If you follow me on Tumblr you would have read this earlier:

So recently I’ve come to realize that I am an expencive person. I like clothes, shoes, DVDs, CDs and everything that normal people like which isn’t that bad. I was feeling pretty good about that. And like most other normal people I love coffee. I don’t feel bad about that either because I can get an extra large at tims for two dollars (which includes the shitty 19 cent tip I give them because I hate change). Tonight (in an Insomniatic (made up that word. sorry) state) I realized I want to buy a lot of things. A lot of expencive things. A lot of expencive things that I have no money to buy. I would really like a dslr which will probably sink anywhere from $1000-1500 for starts (camera, a lens (two if im uber lucky), and a bag). After buying that camera I would need to get an external hard drive (preferably 2 terabyte) to put all the pictures on so I wouldn’t muck up my computer which is another $300-400. So that’s between $1300 and $1900 which is equal to around 6 months of part time work. This is when I came to the shocking realization that my mother is right. I need a job. Then I found a pair of Birkenstocks for $80 and that sealed the deal. As an extra bonus besides being able to afford cool stuff (like Birkenstocks and other shoes and music) my mother promised me a month ago that if I got a job for the summer I could take bag pipe lessons.

Unlike you very special people who read by blog they only get half the story. There are actually a lot of other reasons why I need to get a job.

1.) My Ipod is slowly dying. I need a new one soonish. I would like an Ipod touch. $300-400

2.) I need more fish. My fish take is like....20? liters. it has 4 small fish (1 neon tetra and three other fish that I have no idea what they actually are) and two plants. It looks very empty. It needs to be filled. $100-150

3.) I would really like to buy an acoustic guitar. Right now I'm learning on one of my dads old electrics. It works but he's going to want it back someday. In general I like the sound of the acoustic better so I think it would just be a handy thing to have. (guitar $150-300 + strap $25-40 + stand $35-100 + picks $5 + hard case $100 + strings $10-30) $325-575.

4.) If I don't get those $80 birkenstocks I wont give up. $80-110

5.) I'd really like a pair of Doc Martens. $120-200

theres other stuff...

total to be spent: $2225-3335. eep! that's excluding the trip im going to take next year and uni. imma die D:

at least ill look good while im dying because of all the money i spend on clothes.
