Something about my life.

So earlier I made a post that had absolutely nothing to do with my what so ever and I really feel like writing about my day so here goes nothing.

Second semester started today which I was really bummed about when I woke up this morning UNTIL I WALKED INTO MY GLOBAL HISTORY CLASS. It's actually going to be the best class on the face of the planet. All my friends are in it. ALL OF THEM. It has Amanda, Dresden, Sam, Aaron, Griffin, Brent, Jordan and I'm sure there's a few others. Well I guess it's not all of them. We're missing Ben, Kelly, Chisom and a few others but it's still pretty awesome.

Physics, on the other hand, SUCKS. Candace is in it so I'm stuck sitting with her which is alright I guess but I'd rather sit by someone else. Ashley and Sonja are in it too so it's the chem group back together again with the addition of Nick which is most excellent. He's pretty cool for a grade 11. The most notable person in this class would be Garrett. Indie kid extraordinaire and friends with bearded boy. It's nice to see him sitting in front of me. He kept on glancing back, why? I don't know but it's can't be bad right?

BAND WAS SO FUNNY TODAY! Ms. D filmed our conducting exam which is rather terrifying right? YES TIMES ONE-HUNDRED THOUSAND. We watched them all today and I died laughing. Luke's was sooooooooooooooooo good! I looked bi-polar in mine and Ben's was pretty amazing. You could see me dancing in the background. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Last class of the day was calculus. YAY. no. It was okay. It wasn't too hard but our teacher didn't get there til halfway through the class because he had to do something with his report cards. I'm not complaining it was just really boring. He's really monotoned so I almost fell asleep a couple times but the people in my class are great. It's the same as precal only Andrew isn't in it. It's going to be lonely without him but I get to sit next to Krystine which is really neat. She's a cool cat.

When I got home I watched some lie to me and then went to blockbuster (as you already know) AND THEN FORCED MY FAMILY TO WATCH DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG. I'm soooooo in love with that movie. CAPTAIN HAMMER. OH GOD. I love the fact that he's Castle. I think it adds an extra dimension to the movie. They didn't really like it but that's okay because it's amazing. After we finished that we watched Red which was amazing.

I spend too much time watching movies. So far this week I've watched Sense and Sensibility, Dr. Sing-Along Blog (twice), High Art, and Red. Horrible'sGah. I need a life.....NAWT.

Day 26: 10 responsibilities that I have are...

Wooo! RESPONSIBILITIES!

1.) HOMEWORK! gotta get it all done every night! (it's what makes caffeine necessary)

2.) Good grades! That come from doing said homework. These will hopefully help me get into a university of my choosing. Gotta work hard!

3.) Keep my room walk-in-able. I have a horrible habit of piling clean clothes on chairs and then looking for things and having all the clean clothes fall over onto the floor and then get kicked around in my morning stumbles and then presto chango! you cannot move in my room in the dark unless you are me.

4.) Vaccum room after said mess is cleaned up. It happens about once a week or so. I feel better when everything is tidy.

5.) Keep those fish a swimming. This involves feed and cleaning and changing lightbulbs and filters. It doesn't always work out but the two I have left seem content with their tank life.

6.) Doing the dinner dishes. I only do them on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday because I'm busy other days and sometimes if I have a lot of work my rents will do them during the week which is why I had to take on another responsibility

7.)  Laundry. It was either that or cleaning the bathroom. What one would you choose?

8.) Practicing my Piano. If I don't not only do I feel guilty but I don't get better. It's a lose lose situation.

9.) Practice sax. This happens next to NEVER.

10.) umm....be...polite? ...???

Day 25: 10 special people in my life are...

This is super easy

1.) My best friend Amanda

2.) Dresden... I suppose

3.) My Brother (I love him dearly)

4.) My Father (because he's super awesome and got a super cool new car and is going to let me drive it <3)

5.) Ms. D, my band teacher. She might be the most lovely person on the face of the planet. I'm going to miss her a lot next year.

6.) Ms Corbin. She is another one of my band teachers. I've known her since I was....it's been a long time.

7.) Karen. She's been my piano teacher for the past 4 or 5 years. She made me love music again and want to play (previously I had had a horrible teacher who I didn't like at all and I was going to quit piano.)

8.) Mrs Paddock is another one of my band teachers who has made a lasting impression on my life. She's connected me with other people who share similar views to mine. I will be forever great full that she has played a part in my life.

9.) Mr. Forde. Surprise surprise another band teacher. I had him for two years in grade eight and grade nine but I still see him once or twice a week. He keeps on calling me different names (luckily I out grew baby tuna) and he still hits me on the head. Good times.

10.) As much as we don't see eye to eye my mother does hold a special place in my heart I suppose.

needless to say that when I leave the lovely public school system I will miss all of the teachers and when I have to move away I will be heartbroken from leaving Karen but I'm really glad that they've been here for me. I don't know what I'd do without any of them (though I'm learning to live without Dresden). I'm really grateful that they're all part of my life.

I feeling really sentimental right now :/

A Story Of My Average Tuesday!

So! Tuesday is day 2 (we work on a four day schedule at my school. Monday is always day one (ABCD), Tuesday day two (BADC), Wednesday day three (DCBA), Thursday day four (CDAB)and Friday rotates. It makes zero sense but whatevski) which means my day goes Pre Calculus (B block), Chemistry (A block), Lunch, English (D block) and Off Block (C block)! I love having off last. It's way better than having it first (because I'm in band I only have off every second day which means I only ever have it first and last. It's pretty sweet.). Other than the fact that I start the day with PreCal (it's totally mind crippling) it's my favourite day of the week. I have English last and I get to hang around and do nothing afterwards.

On a normal Tuesday, I'd stay at school during off because I have Brass Ensemble after school (I'm trying to learn how to play trumpet. It's...interesting...) but I was feeling sick so Ms. D (My band teacher. She's great. :D) let me go home instead. I got a drive from my friend Catherine. Her mum came and got us. It was pretty sweet because we didn't have to wait for the 10 to come. When I got home I ate some Cocoa Puffs (because they're awesome) and got down to work. I started by making a check list to get everything organized and choose what I wanted to work on first.

I started by doing my chem lab because I really don't want to fail that (it would be devestating) and then I had to go pick up the van from my dads work. Of course, me being the person that I am, I had to procrastinate about doing the chem lab so the list grew a little longer...

Then I got back home, ate and had a mini-heart attack about writing my article for the school news paper (it was about band. I might post it later...It depends on whether or not it gets into the paper) and finding pictures or the other articles that are going into this months issue (I'm the photography rep for the paper so I'm in charge of all the pictures that go into it. And the list grew longer..

Band (tonight)

I wasn't terribly disappointed that the list was growing because everything that I added to it got check off. I felt like I was getting stuff done and I kinda was. Just not some of the things that I should be focusing on *coughcoughprecalcough*. At band I got my bestie Amanda to look over my article and give me back my English essay (she likes to edit and I need my stuff to be edited so she reads it over and we talk about changes I can make. It's really beneficial for both of us.). She really liked them both so when I got home I made a few changes to my essay and sent Mr. Aucoin (the teacher advisor for the news paper) my article. More things got check off.

Tim's Coffee (What I need if I’m going to survive tonight)

We went to Tim's on the way home to grab some coffee because I was feeling very decaffeinated and I needed coffee so I could get through the rest of the work that I needed to do. I finished off the night with a rush of math. I got my homework done and *most* of the Independent study done (I say most because I think I did a few questions wrong and I couldn't get number 10. But I'll clear that up tomorrow when I talk to my friends.

I'm really pleased with the amount of progress I've made tonight with my massive work load that I've been stressing about for the past four days. Tonight I will be able to sleep well.
